And so your journey into my world begins…
For those who seek to find what maps show not
The mind that twists and turns, does right and sins
The fire that burns, its touch more cold than hot.
If now you choose to take the head-long dive,
To see the things that come from thought and dream,
Together we may face the world alive
And all its evils, visible and unseen.
Do you now doubt the path, or shiver in fear?
I smile and say these few words unto you
“It must happen to all who enter here,
But don’t despair, there’s nothing I can’t do.”

Hey there, I'm Elfie (that's a nickname, my initials spell "ELF")
and here are all the interesting things you should know about me:
- I'm a lover of the arts, and enjoy playing the piano, singing, and seeing Broadway musicals (I love Wicked, RENT, Shrek, My Fair Lady, and so many more!)
- I am also an actor, and have been in many musicals, the most recent being Once on This Island =)
- I love to write fantasy fiction, but I almost never get passed the first chapter, even if it's a really good idea
- I love to read manga. I am completely up to date on the ongoing Vampire Knight and Naruto manga (please, if you wanna talk, friend me!!) and I have in my collection Absolute Boyfriend, Meru Puri, Gentlemen's Alliance, Dengeki Daisy, High School Debut, Vampire Knight, Full Moon Wo Sagashite, and a couple more.
- I also love fantasy fiction! Any popular fiction, you name it, I've read it: Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, the Inheritance Series, Twilight, Inkheart & seq., Maximum Ride, and the House of Night Series <3
- I am obsessed with anime, so of course I'm as pale skinned as Edward Cullen. My favorite anime are Ouran High School Host Club, Naruto, Full Moon Wo Sagashite, Vampire Knight and Inuyasha.
- Hayao Miyazaki's films blow my mind, so they constantly inspire me! Howl's Moving Castle is my fav, but Spirited Away ties with it.
- I don't really watch much TV, but I'm a major movie watcher, and I think Avatar is my favorite movie of all time. I've also seen a TV series called FIREFLY that is the best scifi series EVER, and I also keep up with the episodes of CASTLE <3
- I'm too forgiving, according to many of my close friends.
- I'm a Girl Scout (Thin Mints are my favorite cookie)
- I can't wait to graduate high school so I can go to college more north where its cold. Yay, snow!!
- I play no sports, because I am in the IB program (lol, I'm just not athletic, but IB is a really advanced program, like AP but national)
- My favorite color is blue =)
- I love mint chocolate chip ice cream
- I am obsessed with Japan and its culture, so I hope to visit there when I get to college
- Everything I submit on deviant art is pretty random: mostly fantasy stories or poems, and sometimes pictures, if I'm courageous enough to put them up.
